METAL BUILDING INSULATION
Sprayed foam insulation has proven to be the most effective insulation system for metal buildings.

Sprayed foam insulation has been used in Colorado and Wyoming for over 30 years and has proven to be very effective in controlling the indoor climate in pole barns, shops, garages, and agricultural buildings.

Insulating the pole barn ceiling
Metal is a great conductor of heat and cold making metal buildings a difficult challenge for any insulation system. Typical insulation systems (such as fiberglass or insulation board) are fastened to the metal skin using metal fasteners of some type. These fasteners conduct cold or heat from outside the structure to the inside and hurt the effectiveness of the insulation.

Sprayed foam insulation is totally seamless and adheres directly to the steel skin and structural members. This results in a more effective insulation system, a more comfortable indoor climate and lower heating and cooling costs.

Pole barn insulation and sealing of supports
Pole barns are difficult to insulate due to the metal skin and gaps behind the beams and supports. Sprayed foam insulation can provide a continuous seal around structural members and sill plates, keeping warm air inside in the winter and hot air outside in the summer.

Agricultural metal buildings, both Behlen and straight side, are often insulated with sprayed polyurethane foam. Applications include potato and carrot storage, hog pens, horse barns, loafing sheds, and turkey or chicken barns as well as the tops of grain bins.

Many of these storage applications need the excellent insulating capabilities of sprayed polyurethane foam. Condensation is almost as big a problem and can result in ruined crops or bacterial growth. Sprayed foam helps control condensation in storage facilities, turkey barns, and grain bins.
If your metal building is leaking or needs to be insulated from the outside, sprayed foam can provide a perfect solution. The system helps control condensation and seals up seams and penetrations. Duct work can also be sealed and insulated.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY.....

Farmer
    Yuma, Colorado
"I own several metal buildings and sprayed foam insulation is more effective than any other insulation system I've tried. Sprayed foam is the standard in potato and carrot storage around here and my shop buildings are comfortable year round. I've controlled most of my condensation problems and I even have some happy hogs and horses."
