Sprayed polyurethane foam has been used to insulate thousands of homes in the Rocky Mountain Region for over 30 years.

HIGH R VALUE
Sprayed polyurethane foam has one of the highest R values (6.46 per inch) of any commercially available insulation. In fact, R 19 can be achieved in 2 x 4 construction, R 35 in 2 x 6 constsruction and R 48 in 2 x 8 construction.

SEAMLESS
Sprayed foam insulation has the added benefit of being a seamless insulation system. Why is this such a big benefit? Because
much of the energy in your home is lost through air infiltration. It has been estimated that 40% of the heating or cooling lost from a home comes from cracks around windows, doors, wall outlets, sill plates and joints in the exterior walls. This system seals the cracks better than any caulk gun or weather stripping.

MORE COMFORTABLE HOME
This insulation system insulates so effectively, it reduces air movement in and around the wall cavity. This cuts down on cold air drafts and makes the whole room more comfortable.

STRONGER AND QUIETER
Sprayed foam acts like a glue in the structure and fully adheres to the structural members. This makes the structure stronger and more solid in the wind. The natural sealing characteristics of the system helps block exterior sound such as wind and othe noise.

ENERGY STAR INSULATION PROGRAM
Permax Insulation is a parter in the Energy Star Insulation Program. This program offers Energy Efficiency Financing (EEF) that may help borrowers qualify for reduced mortgage costs. Contact your builder for more info.

KEEPS DUST OUT POLLEN OUT
Sprayed foam is applied as a liquid, foams up and sets in about 15 seconds. This seals up all the nooks and crannies where dust and pollen can enter the home, even in hard to reach areas.

CONTROLS CONDENSATION
Sprayed foam insulation helps control condensation in the wall. In cold climates, condensation in the wall can lead to a dramatic loss of insulation and even ice buildup in the wall. This moisture can even rot framing members. Moisture and condensation have virtually no effect on this system.

DOES NOT SHRINK OR SETTLE
Unlike some loose fill systems, this system, when properly applied, stays in place indefinitely without shrinking or settling.

CONTAINS NO FORMALDEHYDE
Permax insulation is a safe, non-toxic product and contains no formaldehyde.

BUILT GREEN COLORADO
Sprayed foam insulation conforms with section XX. Insulation

INSULATE FLOORS, BASEMENTS AND CRAWL SPACES
You can effectively insulate floors including some with radiant heat systems. Many homeowners choose to insulate the floor over an unfinished basement or crawl space to add comfort to the home. Sprayed foam can add about R 13 to basement walls using 2 x 2 firring strips.

    WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY.....

    Home Builder
        Colorado Springs, Colorado
"We build almost all of our homes using sprayed foam insulation. The houses are tighter, my buyers are happy and I can eliminate vapor barriers, house wrap, and venting of open beam ceilings. I can also go to 2 x 4 construction, still get R 19, use less framing lumber, and have a more solid structure."

    Home Owner
        Cheyenne, Wyoming
"I insulated my new 3000 square foot home with sprayed foam and my worst gas bill last winter was $80. In my old house with 2000 square feet and conventional insulation, a typical monthly bill was over $200. My ne house is also quieter and sturdier in the wind."

    Home Remodeler
        Boulder, Colorado
"The City of Boulder has been requiring R-38 in ceilings in our remodel jobs. We can achieve this with sprayed foam in 2 x 8 ceilings joists. We can also insulate our basements walls with 2 inch firring strips and R13 on the walls."
